DAY 1,

Addis Ababa – Hawassa

Activities:
Drive south through the Great Rift Valley. On the way, stop at Lake Ziway for birdwatching and a visit to the local fish market.

Overnight: Haile Resort, Hawassa

DAY 2,

Hawassa – Dorze Village – Arba Minch

Activities:
Visit the morning fish market at Lake Hawassa. Continue driving to Arba Minch with a stop at Dorze Village, famous for its weaving tradition and uniquely woven bamboo houses.

Overnight: Haile Resort, Arba Minch

DAY 3,

Arba Minch – Konso

Activities:
Drive to Konso (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Visit Konso village, known for its impressive terracing system, stone walls, and traditional wooden waka funeral carvings.

Overnight: Kanta Lodge, Konso

DAY 4,

Konso – Turmi (Hamar Tribe)

Activities:
Drive to Turmi, home of the Hamar people. In the afternoon, visit a Hamar village. If you are fortunate, you may witness the traditional bull-jumping ceremony—a major rite of passage for young Hamar men.

Overnight: Tribal Life ECO Lodge, Turmi

DAY 5,

Turmi – Omorate (Dassanech Tribe) – Turmi

Activities:
Take a morning excursion to Omorate. Cross the Omo River by local boat and visit the Dassanech tribe.
In the afternoon, enjoy free time or choose an optional visit to a nearby Hamar or Karo village.

Overnight: Tribal Life ECO Lodge, Turmi

DAY 6,

Turmi – Jinka via Key Afer Market – Mursi Tribe (Mago National Park)

Activities:
Drive to Jinka via Key Afer (if it is a market day). Continue into Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, famous for the lip-plate tradition practiced by the women.

Overnight: Jinka Resort

DAY 7,

Jinka – Addis Ababa (Flight)

Activities:
After breakfast, transfer to Jinka Airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa.
End of tour.
