Amazing Roadtrip on Northern Germany

DAY 1,

Arrival in Hamburg & Explore the City

Upon arrival at Hamburg Airport, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Depending on your arrival time, you may want to explore the nearby area. Hamburg’s main sights are centered around the city’s historic and commercial core. Visit landmarks like the Rathaus, stroll along Mönckebergstrasse, or enjoy views around the Alster Lake. For a local experience, check out the vibrant Lange Reihe in St. Georg or the nightlife hubs of St. Pauli and Schanzenviertel.

DAY 2,

Speicherstadt & HafenCity Exploration

Spend the day exploring Speicherstadt, Hamburg’s iconic warehouse district and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander the cobbled streets and admire the red-brick Gothic architecture. Learn about its history as a trade hub and enjoy the atmosphere at dusk when the buildings are beautifully lit. Nearby HafenCity offers striking modern architecture, waterfront promenades, and museums. For a different perspective, take a boat ride along the canals from Landungsbrücken or Jungfernstieg.

DAY 3,

Day Trip to Bremen

Take a scenic train ride (1 hour) to Bremen, a charming city known as the “Town of the Bremen Musicians.” Explore the UNESCO-listed Altstadt, including the impressive town hall and Roland statue. Stroll along the Weser River, explore Böttcherstrasse, and experience the relaxed atmosphere of this northern city steeped in over 1,200 years of history. Return to Hamburg in the evening.

DAY 4,

Day Trip to Lübeck

Travel by train (45 minutes) to Lübeck, another Hanseatic jewel. Discover its UNESCO-listed medieval center filled with spired churches, merchant homes, and the oldest town hall in Germany. Once the “Queen of the Hanseatic League,” Lübeck’s stunning red-brick Gothic buildings earned it recognition as a blueprint for northern European architecture. Return to Hamburg for your final evening in the city.
