Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo Arrival Day
At Cairo Airport, you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs. Our representative will be waiting for you—look for the sign of “Noga Tours”, which will be your recognized sign. You will then be escorted to your selected hotel.
Day 2: Day Tour to Pyramids, Saqqara & Memphis
Morning after breakfast at the hotel. At 9:00 A.M., meet your tour guide to start a full-day tour visiting:
- The Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the
World: the Pyramid of Khufu (the largest), Chephren (the second),
and Mykerinos (the third), all guarded by the mysterious Sphinx with
a human head and a lion’s body. - Continue to Saqqara, part of the great necropolis of Memphis. Here
you will see the Step Pyramid built by King Djoser (Zoser I) in 2700
BC—the oldest known pyramid in the world. - Afternoon drive to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where you
will see the impressive statue of Ramses II.
Evening transfer back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: The Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo & Citadel of Saladin
Morning after breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide and drive to:
- The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, one of the most famous museums in the world, housing treasures from 50 centuries of history including the artifacts of Tutankhamun and a collection of royal mummies.
- Drive to Islamic Cairo to visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque (Mohamed Ali Mosque), which once housed Mamluk and Ottoman palaces.
- Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit:
- The Hanging Church (St. Mary’s Church, El-Moallaqah).
- The Church of St. Sergius (4th century).
- Ben Ezra Synagogue, originally a Christian church sold to the Jewish
community.
Return to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 4: Alexandria Day Tour
Morning, meet your guide at the hotel at 7:00 A.M. and drive to Alexandria, founded by Alexander the Great and later the capital of Egypt under Cleopatra.
Visits include:
- The Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa
- Pompeii’s Pillar and Serapeum Temple
- The Citadel of Qaitbay (1477 AD), located on the Mediterranean and
surrounded by the sea on three sides. - The Library of Alexandria, the modern revival of the Great Library of ancient times, containing over two million books
Evening return to Cairo and overnight.
Day 5: Departure Day
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet our representative for your transfer to Cairo
