Day 1:

ARRIVAL IN CUSCO, THE ANCIENT CAPITAL OF THE INCA EMPIRE (TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL)

Welcome to the beautiful imperial city of Cusco, upon arrival at the airport our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the hotel. Along the way you will be able to appreciate great attractions such as the monument to Pachacutec and the Qoricancha, an imposing construction that beautifies this beautiful city. Upon arrival at the hotel you can have a coca tea and we will have a talk about your itinerary and then start the tour.

CITY TOUR:

We will begin our adventure in the majestic Plaza de Armas, where we will visit the Cathedral and the Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun. We will then continue exploring the archaeological sites located near the city of Cusco, such as Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. At the end of the tour, we will return to Cusco.

Day 2:

THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS Enjoy a magical experience

We will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel to begin our adventure. Our first stop will be the Taray viewpoint, where we can admire the Sacred Valley in all its beauty. From there, we will continue to the archaeological complex of Pisaq before traveling along the banks of the Vilcanota River on our way to Urubamba. Here, we will enjoy an exquisite buffet lunch with a variety of dishes. Afterward, we will head to Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca villages, where we will have time to explore its fascinating archaeological complex. Finally, we will make our way to the Ollantaytambo station to board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.

Day 3:

EXPLORING MACHUPICCHU (A Wonderful Day Full of History)

After breakfast, we will depart by tourist bus from Aguas Calientes toward the breathtaking wonder of Machu Picchu, surrounded by the lush green landscapes of the sanctuary. Here, we will enjoy a guided tour of this magical place lasting approximately two hours and thirty minutes, exploring highlights such as the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana (sundial), and more. Depending on the guide’s indications and our return time, we will also have free moments to capture unforgettable photos. Once our visit is complete, we will board the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time to enjoy a delicious lunch on your own. In the afternoon, at the scheduled time, we will head to the train station to begin our journey back to Ollantaytambo. From there, a tourist bus will be waiting to take us comfortably back to the city of Cusco.

Day 4:

MARAS & MORAY Discover Inca ingenuity and technology

We begin our journey from the hotel in Cusco, heading first to the fascinating circular terraces of Moray, an impressive site that reveals the advanced agricultural techniques preserved through generations. From there, we continue on to the Maras salt flats, where we will explore the ancient tradition of salt extraction and discover the many varieties produced in this unique landscape.
Our adventure then takes us to Chinchero, a charming Andean town where we will witness the intricate process of traditional textile weaving, a craft passed down from the ancestors. After this enriching experience, we return to Cusco, with the afternoon free to enjoy the city at our own pace.

Day 5:

HUMANTAY LAGOON – OPTION 1 (Getting to know the Turquoise Lagoon)

We begin our day very early, around 04:30 am, heading towards the Mollepata area where we will enjoy a comforting breakfast before continuing on to Soraypampa. From here, our hike begins, lasting approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Upon reaching our destination, our guide will share fascinating insights about the place while we take in the breathtaking scenery. You will have time to capture stunning photos and enjoy a peaceful moment contemplating the majestic mountain and its surrounding snowy peaks. After this unforgettable experience, we follow the same trail back to meet our vehicle, which will take us to a local restaurant for a well-deserved lunch. We then return to the city of Cusco to conclude the day.

MOUNTAIN OF COLORS – OPTION 2 (An Instagrammable experience)

We depart very early, around 04:30 am, heading to the Cusipata area where we will enjoy a hearty breakfast. Afterward, we continue to the “Phulawasipata” parking area, where our hike begins, averaging about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Upon arrival, our guide will provide an explanation of the site, and we will have the opportunity to take stunning photos and enjoy free time while contemplating the mountains and surrounding snowcapped peaks—a truly unique experience. Finally, we retrace our steps to the vehicle, return to the restaurant for a delicious lunch, and then head back to the city of Cusco.
