DAY 1,

ARRIVAL IN ACCRA – AKWAABA!

  • Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our team with traditional greetings and assisted with your private transfer to the hotel.
  • Take time to relax, freshen up, and enjoy the hotel facilities.
  • There will be a welcome dinner for you.

DAY 2,

Accra City Tour

  1. Morning Start
    After breakfast, embark on a guided half-day tour of Accra.
  2. Independence Square & Black Star Gate
    Key monuments symbolising Ghana’s independence.
  3. Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum
    The final resting place of Ghana’s first president.
  4. W.E.B. DuBois Centre
    A museum and mausoleum dedicated to the Pan-Africanist scholar.
  5. Jamestown
    A historic district known for its lighthouse, colonial architecture and vibrant street life.
  6. Optional Beach Visit
    Optional stop at Labadi Beach for sunset and relaxation.

Leisure Day in Accra

  • Today is free for rest or personal activities.

Accra to Cape Coast

  1. Morning Departure
    After breakfast, check out and depart for Cape Coast.
  2. Journey Experience
    En route, enjoy storytelling on Ghana’s colonial and post-independence history.
  3. Cape Coast Castle
    Visit Cape Coast Castle, one of the largest slave-holding sites in West Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the Door of No Return and experience the emotional gravity of Ghana’s slave history.
  4. Lunch at Ridge Royal Hotel
    A delicious meal will be made for you.

DAY 5,

Kakum & Elmina Day Tour

Distance: Approx. 40 km round trip
After breakfast, set off to Kakum National Park.

  • Enjoy a walk on the canopy walkway, suspended high above the forest floor.
  • Proceed to Elmina Castle, the oldest European building in sub-Saharan Africa.

Observe daily life in the Elmina fishing village, vibrant with colourful boats and coastal activity.

DAY 6,

Cape Coast to Kumasi

  • Morning Departure
    Depart for Kumasi after breakfast.
  • Assin Manso Slave River
    Stopover at Assin Manso Slave River, where enslaved Africans had their last bath.
  • Arrival in Kumasi
    On arrival in Kumasi, check into the hotel and relax.

DAY 7,

Kumasi Royal Heritage

Tour Distance: Approx. 25 km
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the Manhyia Palace Museum and learn about the Ashanti Kingdom and royal customs.

Cultural Crafts & Naming Ceremony

Ntonso
Visit Ntonso, home of Adinkra symbols. Participate in creating your own fabric using traditional stamping methods.

Continue to Bameng for the famous Kente weaving experience.
Naming Ceremony
Enjoy a special naming ceremony with cultural rites and traditional drumming.

Return to Accra

Distance: Approx. 250 km | 5 hours

  • After breakfast, depart Kumasi and head back to Accra directly.

Safari Valley Day Retreat

Distance: Approx. 110 km | 2.5 hours

  3. Safari Valley
