Day 1:

ALMATY

Arrival in Almaty by Air Asia
Transfer for Kazakh dinner at local restaurant Check-in hotel and overnight in Almaty.

Day 2:

ALMATY (KAZAKHSTAN)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Walk around historic oldest park in Almaty with significant monuments of 28 Guardsmen and an Old Russian Orthodox Cathedral. Enjoy the energy and history of Soviet Union heritage
Visit famous Green Bazaar of Almaty where tourist find national snacks, fruits and vegetables. As a tours it spot, the market allows tourists to taste and purchase national food, and buy souvenir items.
Excursion to Medeo & Shymbulak. Medeo ice rink is situated on the height of 1691.2 meters above the sea level and is well known around the world. It was built in 1972. The surface of the ice occupies 10500 square meters. It holds competitions for skating, hockey and figure skating. Ski resort Shymbulak is situated in the picturesque ravine of Zailiysky Alatau Mountain on the height of 2260 meters above the sea level and 25 kilometers from the center of the city of Almaty. Visiting a show of the hunting birds. We offer you to visit the nursery of rare endangered species of birds called “Sunkar” which is unique by its species composition and equipment. The nursery is the only one in the whole territory of Kazakhstan and during its activity, it raised 1060 birds and released 260 falcons Balobans out of the nature. By visiting falcon nursery, you can admire the most beautiful birds, learn about their biological characteristics, and watch the falcon show (from March to November). The trained birds that take parts in the show will demonstrate hunting with a bird, getting food out of the water and other interesting activities. The story about traditions and history of falcon will be told during that spectacular performance, with freely flying birds of prey.

Day 3:

ALMATY

Breakfast at the hotel.

Depart for tour to the Ethno Village. On this tour you will enjoy an authentic theatrical show program, which is an acquaintance with the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people in a specially created ethnographic village, located in a picturesque place at the foot of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. In the program, the guests will be acquainted with the life of nomads, with a national dwelling of Kazakhs – yurt, will enjoy master class on cooking Baursaks – a traditional flour product, cleaning and whipping wool, show with horses and horseback-riding. Then you will have a delicious lunch of the national Kazakh dishes. At the end of the program, you will be given an archery master class – the skill possessed by the nomadic Kazakhs.
Back to the city and walk along Arbat street. This pedestrian shopping street is famous for having the TSUM Shop which is a cross between a department store and a bazaar and is mostly used by the local residents to fulfil their daily needs. And while walking if you want to relax, look no further because this street has all sorts of cafes and restaurants, from high dining to local food, you name it and this street has it.

Day 4:

ALMATY – BISHKEK (KYRGYZSTAN)

Coach transfer to Bishkek (237km – 4hrs+) 1300hrs Local lunch on the way to Bishkek.

Day 5:

BISHKEK – ISSYK KUL

Breakfast at hotel

After breakfast depart to Issik Kul Lake. We will en-route visit to Burana Tower; Museum of History of Balasagun.
Kyrgyz lunch at local restaurant
Transfer for Boat Cruise on Lake (if weather permits).
Check in at the resort and free time to walk along the famous Issik Kul Lake; 8th deepest lake in the world.

Dinner at hotel. Ovenight at Issyk Kul.

Day 6:

ISSYK KUL – BISHKEK / TASHKENT (UZBEKISTAN)

Breakfast at hotel

Depart to Bishkek by road with lunch on the way (267km – 4 hrs)
City tour in Bishkek, capital of Sovereign Kyrgyz Republic; with 2 revolutions and high peak
mountains and beautiful landscape panoramas. We will visit the Independence Square, Victory Square; Museum of History (museum is closed on Monday), Philharmonic Square and TSUM Department Store for Souvenirs.
Transfer to Bishkek Airport for flight to Tashkent (flight ticket included)
Arrive Tashkent, proceed for dinner at Thai Restaurant. Check-in and overnight in Tashkent.

Day 7:

TASHKENT (UZBEKISTAN)

We will start tour the capital city with over 2200 years of history and culture, known as “City of
Bread” and “City of Friendship and Piece”. We will visit Khazrat Imam Complex – founded in the 16th century featuring an ornate facade of blue tiled mosaic concealing a rose garden courtyard and built over the grave of Abu Bakr Muhammad Kaffal Shashi, Barak Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Madrasah, Khazrat Imam Mosque and Museum of Islamic Books. The complex holds a Quran that once belonged to Khalifah Uthman from the 7th Century. We then will take you to Chorsu Bazaar, Independence Square – Memorial of Victory, Amir Temur Square, Museum of Applied Arts and Tashkent metro experiences.

Day 8:

TASHKENT (UZBEKISTAN) – KHUJAND (TAJIKISTAN)

Breakfast at hotel and check out.

Transfer to border with Uzbekistan at Oybek point near Tashkent (100km – 2.5hrs)Border crossing procedure and meet local team.Transfer to Khujand (60km – 1.5hrs).Tajik lunch at local restaurant 1330hrs We will start city tour upon arrival. We will visit the Museum of Archeology and Fortification that is located inside a fortress dated as far as 7th- 8th Century – in the middle of northern part of the city. The territory of the fortress is 300x200m. The city was surrounded with wall. It was destroyed several times during different conquers a last reconstruction was in 18th Century. After that we will continue visiting Ismail Samani Square and Statue and the Local Bazaar.

Day 9:

KHUJAND – ISKANDERKUL

Breakfast at hotel and check out.

Transfer to Iskanderkul (260km – 4hrs)
Short exploration of Istaravshan city, Visit Craft masters workshops(2hours) Tajik lunch in Shahriston, trying famous local smoked lamb meat.
Journey continues to Iskanderkul.

Arrival to Iskanderkul – one of the most beautiful lake in the Soviet Union. We will have a a short break at the shore of the lake where we will enjoy the amazing surrounded nature.Hike to the waterfall and snake lake.

Dinner at the shore of the lake .

Day 10:

ISKANDERKUL – SAMARKAND (UZBEKISTAN)

Breakfast at hotel

Transfer to Tajikistan border (180km – 4 hours)
Lunch in Penjikent.
Transfer from border to Samarkand (30km – 30min)

Arrival to the border Patar

Samarkand tour with Gur-Emir mausoleum then next to Registan Square which is a vast complex consisting ofUlugbek Madrasah, Sherdor Madrasah and Tilla Kari Madrasah.
We then will visit Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, one of the most renowned sites in Samarkand.

Korean BBQ Dinner & Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 11:

SAMARKAND – BUKHARA

Breakfast at hotel & check-out 0845hrs Transfer to Samarkand Train Station

Travel by High Speed Train to Bukhara 12:15 hrs Arrive Bukhara, transfer to the city center.

Uzbek lunch at local restaurant.
Visit Summer Palace of the last rulers of Bukhara – Sitorai Mokhi Khosa, a gem of Russian architecture.

Check in to hotel and rest.

Dinner with cultural show. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 12:

BUKHARA

Breakfast at hotel.

Explore one of the gems of Islamic architecture, the center of Mediaeval Islamic Education. Bukhara is the old center of Tajik culture, where locals still speak Tajik language with the dialect of Farsi. Start tour of Bukhara that are The Citadel Ark, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Samanid Mausoleum, Mausoleum of Chashma-Ayub, Kalon Complex consisting of Minaret, Mosque and Mir-Arab Madrasah, Madrasah Of Ulugbek, Madrasah of Abdul- Aziz khan, Magoki-Attori mosque, Lyabi-Khauz complex consisting of Nadir-Divan Begi Madrasah and Khanaka, and the Khauz – water reservoir.

Day 13:

( UZBEKISTAN) / TURKMENABAD (TURKMENISTAN) / ASHGABAT)

Early breakfast at hotel & check-out

Morning transfer to border with Turkmenistan at Farap point near Bukhara
(100km 2hrs). Border crossing procedure, please note it is one of the slow borders and can be (1.5-2hrs).Meet local team at Turkmen side, drive to Türkmenabat (68km – 1.5hrs)

Turkmen lunch and start sightseeing the city.

Flight to Ashgabat.

Turkmen dinner & overnight in Ashgabat.

Day 14:

ASHGABAT-DOOR OF HELL Darvaza / ASHGABAT

(The gates of hell may close – according to local government sources.

Breakfast at hotel

City tour in Ashgabat includes Independence Park and Neutrality Arch, Ashgabat Flagpole and Turkmenbashi Mosque – Mausoleum. Next we will go to Gulistan Bazaar-known as “Russian Bazaar”. Since it was built, many Russians used to go there for shopping.

Afternoon transfer to the Darvaza gas crater, known locally as the “Door to Hell” or ”Gates of Hell”. It is a natural gas field in Derweze, Turkmenistan, that collapsed into an underground cavern in 1971 then becomes a natural gas crater. Geologists set it on fire to prevent the spread of methane gas and it has been burning continuously since then. The diameter of the crater is 69 metres (226 ft), and its depth is 30 metres (98 ft).

Day 15:

ASHGABAT

After breakfast check out and proceed to Gokdepe, en route stop to visit :

Saparmyrat Ruhy Mosque in Gypjak. Excursion to the horse Hippodrome where proud Turkmen Ahalteke horses are preserved. A visit to Monument for the Victims of the Earthquake of 1948 and Monument of Lenin which was erected in 1927. These are few monuments which survived the earthquake of 1948.
